Last night was the information meeting on the Cambridge Scouts. Owen was SO excited from the time I picked him up from school, until we walked into the church for the meeting. However, after 45 minutes of sitting in a folding chair, surrounded by 30-some parents asking the same questions over and over again and 40-some kids ranging from 3-13 years old (not listening to all their parents) we all walked out of there a little less than enthused. We agreed not to discuss it until after the weekend. But as it stands right now, Owen DOES NOT want to be a part of the Scouts. And I can honestly say, I don't blame him! We'll just wait and see what he thinks on Monday.

Scouts?

Somehow....someone is not committed to the issue....and not capable of communicating the information properly....getting the ground rules and facts straight...its too bad...I know I was fortunate in having some great den mothers who were like you and loved kids and knew how to keep them occupied...Scouting was fun..back then...and an adventure as well...
