During one of our "Mommy/Allie" shopping trips, we stumbled upon the Halloween costume of any little girl's dreams. She has always said, "Mommy, I'm a mermaid. Just like Ariel!" Wouldn't you know it, they make costumes for those whose one wish is to have a fish-tail. She was so excited about it, we had to try it on when we got home. Then again, when daddy came home from work. Oh, and when we have people come over to visit it's the first thing she runs to get to show them. Halloween is still 3 weeks away! I hope the costume lasts that long!!!

The way she swims, she has a head start on the rest of the school....but hopefully that's as close as she gets to being Ariel! At her age, it will be interesting to see how many characters and people influence her and become role models for her.....
She does make a beautiful mermaid! I bought my girls Halloween costumes a month ago, and they've already changed their minds on what they want to be.
