For the very first time ever, we carved some of the pumpkins. Daddy explained to Owen the process of how to properly carve a pumpkin (without losing ANY blood). I bought some candles so on Halloween, we will have our Jack-O-Lanterns even lighting the way for trick-or-treaters.

Absolutely No Blood....thankfully...a great experience for Owen and I am sure for Jake too...I remember some carving we did back in the day...and will always remember that above all...they were priceless!
If you put vaseline on the cut edges they will last longer and won't shrivel before halloween.
