Where does the time go?

I am so cool!

I look pretty!

I was told by a friend of mine, that I needed to get busy and do some posting.  So I started looking at the random pictures I have taken of my beautiful children in the last 6 months.  That's IT!  Just 6 months!!  I couldn't believe how much the two of them have changed in that short amount of time.  I am so blessed to be able to stay-at-home and enjoy every moment of it.

Hair today, Gone tomorrow!

Last Friday, Daddy did the dreaded dead.  We've been talking about having Owen get a haircut for about a month or so.  Daddy sent mommy a text saying that he was going to take Owen to get a haircut after picking him up from school.  So, mommy was quite surprised when she came home to find her little boy looking like a big boy.  Even some of Owen's closest friends didn't recognize him the first time they saw him.  Good news, he won't need another haircut until August!

Girls Just Want To Have Fun!

"Princess, ALL the time!"  This is what Allie will tell you when she is in her full royal wardrobe.  Lately, that's all we've been about.  Jewelry, lip gloss, shoes, purses and pretty dresses.  For those of you who know me, I own less than 25 pairs of shoes.  I can go days without any makeup.  Plus, I only wear dresses for special occasions.  Where did this child come from?  Maybe she was put here to inspire me to be more feminine?  I think I'll wear makeup to Bunco tonight:)

Appropriate?

Tonight, at the dinner table, we were sitting around it eating our food when out of the corner of my eye I notice Owen was wiggling in the bench.  He had spilled his water in his lap and now he was uncomfortable in his wet jeans.  I told him he could take his jeans off and continue eating.  I continued to eat and didn't realize that Owen had thought of a better idea.  He took his underwear off and then proceeded to stand up on the bench, turn around, touch his toes and then wag his bottom from side-to-side (which was visible above the table) giggling and asking, "Is this appropriate?"  I thought I was going to die!!!  I had to look away to keep from choking on my pizza.  Jake was trying so hard to keep a straight face.  We eventually got him to put his underwear back on and finish his dinner.  This gives new meaning to dinner-theater!
