Happy Halloween!
All of the mummies and daddies brought their little monsters to our house for a Halloween Party. It was so much fun! The costumes were great, the food was nibbled, the candy was gobbled and the kids are NOW passed out! Those are the ingredients for an amazing night. We had so much fun, that I'm sorry I won't be able to post all of the pictures. Enjoy the few I have here. A scrapbook is coming on it's way... to be continued!

New baby!
Yesterday we all were in KC to pick up our new member of the family. Jake got a new car, finally! He decided on a mini coop and it is perfect for him. He had it custom made to his desires. I have to admit the car does rock! He got to cruise home by himself and enjoy the speed. The first time Allison saw the car she walked up to it and said, "Ohhh, blue car!" Then she walked along the side of it running her fingers on the shiny paint and proceeded to grab the door handle to open the door. When it didn't open, she turned to me and held out her hand and asked, "Keys?" I thought I was going to die laughing. She may think that the car is just the right size for her, but she has to wait at least 12 years before daddy thinks of letting her drive it.

Winnie the Pooh, Live!
When Owen was little, we took him to see both The Wiggles and Elmo at Kansas Col. He liked them at the time and always refers to those shows as the most amazing things. But tonight was Allison's first experience. We, all four, went to see Winnie the Pooh, Live! Owen has been talking it up for about a week now. I have been singing the theme song for about a month. But nobody could have predicted how amazing it was going to be. Allison LOVED it! She watched, danced, sang, bounced, watched, clapped, danced and watched with the biggest, bluest eyes I've ever seen. I don't know who was higher, me or the kids. Owen was great. He talked back to the characters at all the right moments. It was a late night for all of us, but we'll all be dreaming of the magic.

NO T.V!!!!!
I think we might be the only family in America to only have one T.V. in their house. Granted, it is a big T.V. Last Friday night, after we put the kids to bed, I went downstairs to unwind and watch a little of the news. I could hear the news, but couldn't see the news! Our lamp in the T.V. went out. Jake ordered a new one, but it would take two days to process the order then 4-5 days until delivery. Who knows if they work on the weekend or not? So we are still without T.V. However, I think everyone is getting better sleep and I am getting a ton of projects done. Jake has already mentioned not EVER getting the T.V. fixed! As nice as this has ended up being, I think we still need it. I WILL be cutting the amount of T.V. we watch on a daily basis. And maybe even not watch it every day.

Pumpkin Patch Field Trip
Today was Owen's class field trip to the Applejack Pumpkin Patch. We went last year, but Allison had no idea where we were. This year, she went nuts. They had a blast walking through the field looking for the "perfect" pumpkin. Each one of them got their own. Owen helped mommy pick out hers. These are just a few pictures from the batch I took. Owen has a friend in his class named Nathan. He is the one sitting next to Owen on the haystack.

Nathan's Big Brother Party!
Last night we hosted an amazing party for our friends the Prices. They recently added a beautiful little boy, Zachary David Price, to their wonderful family and we were able to get most of our friends together to celebrate. Our house is definitely built for parties and this month we are putting it to the test. Here is to the good times and great memories. Thanks to everyone for making the party a huge success! Enjoy the pictures.

Born to ride!
On Saturday, we made a family trip to Toy's R Us to get Owen a big boy bike. The first bike he saw he was determined to be able to ride it. Unfortunately, it was too tall for his legs. However, the second bike was perfect in every way! It was even a Diego bike. You could see it in his face the minute he sat on it. It was meant to be! Since yesterday, Owen has become a pro biker. Today for our dog walk, he asked if he could take his bike. Daddy and I were a little hesitant, in the past, we have been the ones carrying the toy home. Neither one of us were looking forward to that. But we gave it a shot. He LOVED it! He was in the lead the entire walk. We even beat Daddy, Allison and Nick home. So we were able to take a few action shot photos of his mad skills. Below is a sample conversation Mommy and Owen had on that walk.
Mommy - "Do you like your new bike?"
Owen - "It's my new favorite thing!"
Mommy - "I'm glad you like it. You are doing great!"
Owen - "Yeah, this bike is more powerful than the other one was."
