All That Jazz

In August, Owen enrolled in a zero hour...as a freshman!  He really wanted to play Jazz Band.  So, on top of his very solid schedule, he goes to school 3 days a week an hour early to play jazz music on his trumpet.

Last night he had his first High School Jazz Concert.  Tonight he had a Band Concert, but due to Allie's musical at the same time Pops got to go to the Band Concert.  But we ALL went to the Jazz Concert.

It so amazes me that he gets up in front of a room full of strangers and plays his trumpet with confidence.  But to compound that image with only 17 students on the stage with him, that is IMPRESSIVE.
