Catchy Jingle?

I'm not one for openly showing the world my creativity (or lack of), but Jake sparked something in me today when he told me about this contest. Apparently, there is a Christmas Jingle Contest through the Red Sox. You are to make up your own song and use certain phrases to promote the Red Sox. I'm always making up songs. I did it all the time when I was teaching to help kids remember important facts or lessons. So I gave it a shot.

The below lyrics are to the tune, Jingle Bells.

The temperature has dropped.
Not much more to say.
Let's bundle up from head to toe,
To spend Christmas at Fenway.

The bills have not been paid.
I'm living in the dark.
But I found an oasis,
Hanging out at Fenway Park.

Oh, we love ball. We love ball.
Red Sox is our life.
We could watch it every day.
Just ask my ex-wife.

Oh, I wear red. I wear red.
It's all that I own.
I just got "Sweet Caroline",
As my phone's ring tone.

Are you going to copyright it? Just in case.....think about the women who wrote the "Happy Birthday" song!
