Welcome Home

The next 3 days were a whirlwind of cardboard, rubbermaid and packing paper.  Not to mention the going through and deciding what's worthy to stay and what crap has to go.  The kids were great at deciding what can go, they just needed guidance to stay on task.  But by Sunday evening, this house was basically moved in.  There are approximately 20 boxes and totes still in the garage, but that's a project I can continue with at a lighter pace.  There are several boxes of the kids toys that we want to store, so I got the privilege of going through and sorting all the different toys into labeled storage totes that would reside in "deep storage".

As soon as Jake and Yawkey pulled into the garage, my heart felt complete.  We were ALL home.  Dinner was the best meal we had had in weeks.  There we were, all sitting around the table trying our best to both listen to each other's stories and share our own over the past 2 weeks.  If Hallmark had been watching, they might have stollen our moment for one of their movies.

Going to bed that night was the deepest slumber I had in months.  Our new chapter in Spokane was OFFICIALLY started.  This was now our new home.  Welcome Home.
