These are those days when someone gets off early (work or school) or the something (usually weather) makes a regular day get changed. Today is a bonus day, the kids get out of school early and Jake is off work. Now the FUN begins!!!
We picked the kids up from school and went to check the "Lights at Manito". The walk there was brisk, but once we got there inside the green house IT WAS AMAZING! So many lights! I even got an idea for some decorations for our outside eating area.
Then we went to the River Front Mall to see movies. Allie and I went to see the new Grinch movie and the boys went to see Creed II. Finally we got dinner to go and sat in front of the fire hanging out in our living room.
Today was a good day. It's such a gift to get a "Bonus Day", we make sure to get the most out of them.
